Instrumentation Installation
We provide the attention to detail that your complex control system with sensitive solid-state analog or digital instruments needs. Our technicians and engineers give the proper treatment of each type of instrument, correct wiring for instrument signals, proper instrumentation grounding, and sound specifications for instrumentation wire and terminations.
CACO Servies follow good general wiring practices for industrial process control instrumentation. Typically these are low voltage situations where twisted and shield pair wire are recommend for protection from electromagnetic noise. Proper terminations are an important part of good wiring practice and result in reliable connections that help eliminate ground loops and electromagnetic interference. We recommend installing instrumentation cabling in steel conduits that are properly grounded and dedicated to instrument signals only and splices in instrumentation cables are avoided. These procedures provide excellent electromagnetic shield as well as an inductive damping.
